Architectural glass mainstay Skyline Design marks 40 years of operations and domestic manufacturing this year. From its origins as Skyline Art Services, specializing in thematic fabrication, to becoming a leader in large-scale architectural glass.

During an apprenticeship, a pivotal moment came when Rizzo discovered the art of glass etching, prompting a transformation into Skyline Design while preserving its on-site manufacturing and creative essence.

Recently, the visionary founder and president, Charlie Rizzo, passed the mantle to Vipul Bhagat, a stalwart with 30 years of experience at Skyline Design. As Bhagat assumes the role of president, he expresses excitement for the future.

“For forty years, Skyline has brought unique perspectives to the design industry, and I’m excited to usher in the next forty years of growth and innovation,” said Bhagat.

With a proactive growth mindset, newly appointed Communications Director Jessie Devereaux joins Darcie Young Tashey, Marketing Director. Both are passionate about supporting ethical domestic manufacturing.

Steve Spangler has been assigned as the National Sales Director for Skyline Design’s Smart Glass & Film, serving as the key technical link between sales reps and customers during specifications. Furthermore, Chris Allen, an expert in architectural metal systems, joins the team to oversee the launch of Vector in Q3 2023, an exclusive wall-cladding system resulting from a strategic partnership.

Beyond their business pursuits, Skyline Design remains committed to making a positive impact in their community.
